Small comfortable hotel surrounded by lovely countryside, yet close to several Worcestershire towns.
Very good standard of rooms and staff in a spot very convenient for Kidderminster yet tucked into a rural area. Classy relaxing atmosphere and food of a high standard. Will be a regular call for me.
Location nice and peaceful
We ate A la carte and the steaks were a bit tough other wise the restaurant was excellent
I was only there for one night and didn't eat in the restaurant, however the welcome on arrival and service from the lovely receptionist was fantastic. The cost of the room was exceptionally good value for money and comfortable too. Breakfast was freshly cooked and the waitress was very friendly. I will be returning to this area on business and will definately stay here again
It was quiet and nice location. Would have liked to have tried a meal in the restaurant as we last visited The Granary 30 years ago.
Food at wedding buffet disappointing. Staff at breakfast time could be more cheerful.
It was clean and tidy. Staff were quite friendly.
Had very strange scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Good Food. Friendly staff ,Welcoming to dogs,Pleasant, peaceful surroundings.
The room was spacious and comfortable. Although we did not have a meal with you this time (we were staying due to a family celebration) but have eaten at your hotel before and the food was extra good. Easy access but tucked away and had a feeling of away from it all.
Bed covers were low on bed and couldn't be pulled up and were not light and fluffy as in a duvet. But just personal choice.
The noise from the disco - unfortunately there were some wedding parties whilst i was there and the noise of other guests was troublesome.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. The vegetables were home grown and picked fresh each day. The lanscaping of the grounds were attractive and relaxing. There was plenty of parking space. It was also the nearest to the home of the friends we were visiting, in Hartlebury!
The staff were very good and the room was comfortable but the food was wonderfull
We always use the Granary as the staff are always welcoming and polite, the food is always of a good quality and it's convenient to visit our relatives. The quiet location is great for a good night’s sleep, and the room's facilities are more than adequate, for a comfortable stay.
My parent’s room was fine, but I stayed in the disabled room, which was filthy, as it was the last time I stayed in the room. On this and the previous stays, in the room, the grab rails were greasy, caked underneath with what appeared to be excrement, the carpet was dirty and full of hair, and the room’s general fixtures and fittings were greasy and dirty. It is a shame to have to say this, as this is the only fault with the hotel.
Fantastic! I had heard that The Granary was good - it was recommended to me by a colleague who had stayed there before - but I was so impressed I felt I had to leave a comment (not something that I'd normally do). For £67 I was expecting a Travel Lodge/Holiday Inn standard of accomodation but it was nothing of the sort. It was modern, stylish but not clinical (like some of the bigger chains). It was clean, modernised, comfortable and well finished (unlike some independent hotels). What really made the night away from my family so much better was how friendly the staff were. As a female travelling alone, hotels can often be a little lonely and unpleasant, but I was immediately welcomed and made to feel at ease. Finally (I promise I shut up now), dinner was delicious and I had FREE WIFI in my room!!! Why doesn't everyone do free wifi?! It's a must for all hotels in this day and age.
